Frequently Asked Questions

You can start as soon as you have contacted a member of the team and either paid your course in full or paid your deposit. Once you've made your initial payment we'll send through all the docs and info you need.

You can pay upfront in one lump sum, or you can pay through Direct Debit. If you choose to pay through Direct Debit it's nice and simple. You just pay a deposit and the remainder of the course fee can be taken out over a few months to help you spread the cost. 

Also unlike other providers, if you choose the Direct Debit option, we don't add any additional fees, we don't think it's fair to charge you more when spreading the cost. Another reason why we're different. 

We've made it as easy as we can. Just drop us an email and one of the team will be in touch with a doc for you to complete. We'll keep in touch the whole way through to make sure we both have all the info we need.

Basically once you sign up, we'll send you a login to our SkillsHub. Your SkillsHub will contain your online course, presentations and quizzes to check your progress. You'll also be sent a login for our website which will have access to all our policies, additional documents and resources you may need and access to dates for all your practical days.
We'll also email over your LAP file, where you will fill in all your work and send to your Tutor to mark for you. 

From the date you start your course, you'll have a max of 2 years to complete, but you can get qualified as quickly as you can complete your LAP file and assessments. It's all down to you and how hard and quick you want to work. Some students have started and completed their work and assessments in as little as 8-12 weeks. So it really is down to hard you want to work and how soon you want to start. 

We're mostly online, so whatever room in the house you want to study! Our practical days are held primarily in our own gym, but depending where you're based, we can come to you to complete your practical days. We love a day out and our road trip Spotify isn't that bad. 

Of course! We work with Active IQ who are one of the leading providers of qualifications for the fitness industry. All our qualifications are recognised and regulated by OFQUAL, Qualifications Wales and CCEA and are affiliated with CIMSPA as both an education partner and awarding organisation.

This means that our qualifications are internationally recognised and accepted all over the world, so whether you're planning to work in the UK or abroad, studying with us will still qualify you to work anywhere in the fitness industry. 

We've worked hard with Active IQ to get the best course we can that lets you study online at your own pace as well as meet us in person to complete practical days. Most online courses don't offer the same practical days that we have and that offer someone to come to your gym where your more comfortable. You can come to us, but we can also come to you, which not a lot of people do. 

Your tutor team have specific days and times that they work through all the LAP files. This will all be communicated to you when you sign up and a list of deadlines, admin days and practical days will all be sent in your introduction pack. So make sure you read your pack, as if you're delayed in sending work through and it misses the deadline, it may not be marked until the next admin day for our team. 

Once all your work in your LAP file has been completed and marked, your practical days have been completed and your final assessment has been done and passed we can process your certificate for you. This will be emailed directly to you. 

(If you pay your invoice through Direct Debit, all your payments must be completed before we can issue your certificate, this won't come through and you won't be certified unless your full balance has been cleared)

At the minute we have our Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal trainer course. These are the basics to get into the industry. As we grow we will be introducing more courses and CPD courses to help you as a trainer develop.  We do have plans for First Aid, Mental Health and other fitness courses, but with the ReForm Academy, we'll be keeping all courses relevant and won't be adding any courses we don't feel you need. We want to upfront and honest with all our students, if we think it will help, we'll get it on the list. Keep an eye on our coming soon courses section for more info. 

Your support with us doesn't stop once your course is complete. We're committed to help all our students succeed in the industry. Once you complete your course we'll still be available for help and support. You can arrange some time with a member of the team and we can go through the business aspects in more detail with you, or help with any questions or concerns you have. Don't worry you'll never be on your own. We have a huge amount of connections both inside and outside the industry to help. Our network is your network.

Everything is possible. We know that there are providers out there who don't have the same level of service as we do and don't provide the same resources we do, it's unfortunately the way the education industry is at the minute. 

As long as you have completed some aspects of your course just drop us a message and we'll see what we can do for you. Sometimes this may not be possible, but we'll try our best and help you where we can. We've already had some students come to us already. 

Once you've started your course with us, you'll get access to our online platform. On your main login page you'll have the option to contact your Tutor.

Remember that you don't have to wait to contact your tutor by email, if your on your practical day and have any questions just ask, that's what we're here for.
